About Us - Meet the Team
Director
Company Founder and Director, Alex Bartlett, has been in the electrical industry for over 10 years. Alex qualified as an electrician from Bournemouth and Poole College in 2017 and received the Senior Apprentice of the Year Award, being credited for completing his apprenticeship to a very high standard, passing with distinction and showing an exemplary commitment towards learning and developing as an electrician. Alex set up Bartlett Electrical Ltd in March 2020 and hasn’t looked back since.
Spends his weekends: On his mountain bike

Electrician
Nick has been part of the team since September 2021. Nick started his journey to become an electrician after getting the bug to learn a trade when renovating his own house. He has been with the company right from the start of his electrical journey. He qualified from his apprenticeship in 2024 and completed his inspection and testing course in 2025.
Having now spent over four years with Bartlett Electrical, Nick has developed into a very dedicated and professional electrician who is a pleasure to have in the team.
Spends his weekends: Wishing he was back at work

Nick Gadd
Head of HR and van security
Rodney (aka Rodders) is a key member of the Bartlett Electrical team. He is a well established van dog who enjoys nothing more than sticking his head out the window and letting the wind flow through his rather large ears. Rodney has been a part of Bartlett Electrical since the beginning and looks forward to discovering where his walk will be at the end of each day - depending of course where the day’s job was. The New Forest has plenty of suitable trees for Rodders.
Spends his weekends: Running alongside Alex on the mountain bike
