However, the Tesla Wall Connector charger will most likely require an external PEN fault detection device to be installed. Tesla EV Chargers are only available for Tesla owners to buy direct from Tesla, therefore prices listed are for installation only.

OZEV Grant

OZEV grants are available to people getting EV chargers installed if they live in rented accommodation or in flats/apartments. They can claim £350 inc VAT off the price of the installation.

Our standard installation service has been designed to cater for most customers, where the installation of the new dedicated EV circuit is clear and obvious.

What’s included?

  • Up to 10m of power cable from the consumer unit to the charger location, clipped directly.

  • Up to 10m of data cable if required (needed for solar PV and load monitoring).

  • Up to 10m of plastic trunking to enclose any internal wiring.

  • Fitting the charger to a suitable solid wall.

  • Connection to an existing spare way in the existing consumer unit with Type A RCD protection via 32/40A MCB.

  • Testing and certificating the new EV charger circuit and producing a building control notification.

  • Commissioning and functionally testing the charger, demonstrating it with the customer – including app set up.

  • Completing OZEV application on behalf of the customer. (if applicable)
